This summer JBC is offering an exciting opportunity for parents, grandparents, future parents – really anyone working with children or teens. On six Wednesday nights starting on June 6, Pastor Shawn will be facilitating a study called “Christ-Centered Parenting: Gospel Conversations on Complex Cultural Issues.”
Designed to help you lead children and teens in a confident and responsible way, this 6-session resource will equip you to address pressing cultural topics which children of all ages, from preschoolers through young adults, face, including:
- Gender issues
- Suicide, depression, and anxiety
- Pornography
- Addiction and coping mechanisms
- Same-sex marriage
- Singleness, dating, marriage, and divorce

It is vital that we know how to communicate these important biblical truths to our children and teens, because culture is already communicating its “fake truth” everywhere! Let’s surround them with parents, grandparents, Sunday School teachers, aunts, uncles, & friends who can help them navigate these issues biblically.
